EMF Medical Aid Society is committed to protecting the personal information of our members. We protect your personal information in line with Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act 12.07 and the Cyber and Data Protection Regulations, Statutory Instrument 155 of 2024.
Our Compliance Position
- EMF has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who is trained and licensed in accordance with the Cyber and Data Protection Act.
- As a registered medical aid society, EMF fully complies with the Medical Services Act [Chapter 15:13].
- EMF is a member of the Association of Healthcare Funders of Zimbabwe (AHFoZ).
- EMF's operating licence is current, having been renewed with the Ministry of Health and Child Care.
- An Internal Audit function and an enterprise-wide risk management framework are in place, overseen by the Board's Audit Committee.
How We Safeguard Your Data
To safeguard your data, we use encryption, two-factor authentication, and other security measures across all client-facing platforms.

Raising a Concern
If you have any question or concern about how EMF handles your personal information, please contact our Client Services team. All complaints are acknowledged and addressed within ten (10) working days. Unresolved matters can be escalated to the Business Development and Client Relationship Manager, then the Fund Secretary, and ultimately the Principal Officer.
