Below are some of the benefits of the Primary Medical Aid Scheme.
Prescribed Drugs
Acute and Chronic drugs have cover whilst cancer and hemodialysis drugs are also covered.
Vaccines
This mostly covers rabbis and anti tetanus shots and requires preauthorization
Optical Benefits
Cover is valid every two and a half years and the cover includes spectacles and consultation.
Ambulance Services
The Primary scheme offers St Johns and Government ambulance services.
Dental
This is subject to pre-authorization
Hospitalization
Hospital drugs are covered by up to 50% of the global cover and only ward fees are covered.
